Who are Team Vertex?

Team Vertex is a Young Enterprise Company. We are a team of students from the Royal Grammar School, Guildford, in the Lower Sixth form (Year 12).

Which payment methods do you accept?

Our books our available to buy on eBay. At our stalls and at events, we only accept cash. We can also arrange a card or cheque payment: just let us know via email, text or social media.

How long are the books?

'1-9: A Parents' Guide to GCSEs' is 42 pages long. '11+: A Parent's Guide' is 40 pages long. Both books are printed at A5 size.

What topics do you cover in your books?

We have chapters on a wide range of topics. These include organisation, mental health, motivation, time management, and on the day.

Are you an environmentally sustainable company?

Of course! All our books are printed on paper from FSC certified forests and they are printed in the UK in order that we avoid unnecessary carbon emissions from vehicles having to travel large distances.

Can I get a digital copy?

A digital copy is an idea we've been considering for a while, but haven't yet come around to finalising. We hope that in a world that is becoming increasing reliant on technology, an eBook might be the way forward. At the same time, who doesn't love a classic book that you can read to get away from the screens?

How are you dealing with COVID-19?

Obviously our position is quite precarious as GCSEs have been cancelled this year, and we are unable to sell at school events. However, we recommend that parents with children in the years below the current Year 11 and Year 6 still purchase our guides. These are available on eBay.
