Find something to do that gets you out of the house.
During lockdown, it’s far too easy to simply get into a routine of sitting inside all day, working at a screen or playing video games and watching TV, but it’s important to get outside. Sunlight is crucial for vitamin D and according to many medical professionals, being outside for as little as 20 minutes has a significant positive effect on your mood.
Even better is exercising outside as this also boosts serotonin levels, making you happier and fitter at the same time. Activities such running or cycling are great to pick up during lockdown, and help set up positive habits for when life finally does go back to normal.
